Cashmere Care Guide

How to make cashmere last a lifetime

A few simple care tips can help your cashmere last longer. Some of them are surprisingly easy to follow. Learn these simple tips to ensure your sweaters last forever!

How to Care

Made from the highest quality natural cashmere, our garments need time for recovery, a brief moment to breathe. We recommend wearing the same item every other day at most to give your clothes a rest.

How to Store

To preserve the shape of your garments, avoid using hangers and store them folded. It is recommended to store them in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Additionally, be careful when using perfumes or deodorants that contain chemicals as they may damage cashmere.

How to deal with Pilling

Natural fibers tend to pill, but with proper care, the pilling will reduce over time. To care for your cashmere garment, turn it inside out, lay it flat, and use a cashmere comb to gently remove any loose fibers. Remember to comb in one direction. Flip it back to its original state and repeat the process.

How to wash cashmere at home

We recommend dry-cleaning our products. However, you can wash your cashmere by hand with gentle care.
STEP 1.

Prepare cashmere or wool shampoo, and a cashmere brush.

STEP 2.

Dilute a small amount of cashmere shampoo in lukewarm water. Soak the cashmere in the water for about 10-15 minutes.
*Avoid using hot water, as it can severely damage the cashmere fibers.

STEP 3.

Gently squeeze the fabric without rubbing.

STEP 4.

Pour out the water and rinse by pouring clean lukewarm water over.
Repeat this process until the soap bubbles disappear.

STEP 5.

To remove the water, place the item on a towel and roll it up carefully to remove the water.
Avoid wringing the water out.
Dry the item naturally by laying it flat in its natural shape, away from direct sunlight.
